Baked Cabbage on the Grill
Use 8 strips of thick bacon and 1 large green cabbage. Sprinkle each strip of bacon with a pinch each of salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes and brown sugar. Place each bacon strip on a 6 inch square of aluminum foil and then top each piece with a wedge of cabbage. Place a slice of bell pepper and a slice of yellow onion among them, and then seal the foil. Cook on indirect heat for 1 1/2 hours till the wedges feel soft when squeezed.
